2025 Year-End Gift
In the summer of 1969, when prohibited by law, our founders Charles Leslie and Fritz Lohman exhibited homoerotic artworks in their Soho loft, just on the brink of the Stonewall uprising. Ever since, the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art has remained uniquely committed to linking artmaking with justice movements, honoring justice work as central to material innovation.
We persist alongside queer and trans artists—catalyzing our twenty-first-century museum to foment change and imagine a viable future for all.
Thank you for choosing Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art and for supporting and showing up for queer and trans artists.
